The Armillary will provide a focal point in your garden and give an air of antiquity, as the metal is not treated and will rust to give an 'aged' look (they can be oiled if you choose). It is calibrated and if set with the arrow pointing North will tell the approximate time. The Armillary Sundials look especially lovely if ivy or climbers are trained around the optional base. If you have a tree stump, or column, an Armillary Sundial would make it into an interesting garden feature. The spheres on the Armillary are 380 mm diameter. The Tripod base is 780 mm high. These measurements apply to both Armillary 'A' and 'B' The spheres on Armillary 'A' are completely round, whilst the spheres on Armillary 'B' are open at the back.
